About Billy Bob’s Wonderland

Billy Bob’s Wonderland is a one-of-a-kind family entertainment center located in Barboursville, West Virginia, offering food, games, parties, and a truly rare piece of entertainment history.

Our story began in 1986 as a ShowBiz Pizza Place. In 1989, rather than converting into a corporate chain, the restaurant chose to become independent, giving birth to Billy Bob’s Wonderland. That decision preserved something special: the beloved Rock-afire Explosion animatronic band, which still performs here today and makes Billy Bob’s one of the last places in the United States where this classic show can be experienced regularly.

Over the years, Billy Bob’s has grown and evolved, relocating to its current, larger location in 2003 to better serve families and guests. While additional locations once operated in the region, Barboursville remains the heart and home of Billy Bob’s Wonderland.

Today, Billy Bob’s Wonderland blends nostalgia and modern family fun, featuring arcade games, birthday parties, special events, and live animatronic performances. With renewed restoration efforts and a growing fan community, including special events like Billy Con, Billy Bob’s continues to celebrate its unique legacy while creating new memories for generations to come.
